Apply for the Community Suite
The Sarnia Sting in partnership with the Corporation of the City of Sarnia is excited to provide opportunities for charitable and non-profit organizations, youth groups, service clubs (City or County based) and to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary acts of kindness, generosity and goodwill to the community to take in a Sarnia Sting home game from high a top Progressive Auto Sales Arena in the City of Sarnia- Sting Community Suite
Eligibility
Eligible recipients of the Community Suite must meet the following criteria:
- Youth focused community group (non-profit)
- A community group with a focus on persons with disabilities (non-profit)
- A community group with a focus on persons with disadvantages (non-profit)
- Personal use for registered charities and non-profits providing support and services in the Lambton County area.
- Fundraising use for registered charities and non-profits providing support and services in the Lambton County area.
- A fundraising committee hosting an event in which proceeds will go to a registered charity
- Nominated individuals who have demonstrated exemplary acts of kindness, generosity and goodwill to the community.
Please note that due to high demand not all organizations, even those that meet the eligibility will be guaranteed a recipient of the community suite. Priority will be given to the following:
- Local groups and organizations.
- Those who have not received the suite in the past or the year prior.
- Those who properly and fully complete the application.
Game Allocation
Approved recipients of the community suite will be allocated to the next available home game or event at Progressive Auto Sales Arena in sequence based on when the application was approved. Recipients will not get their choice of game/ event to ensure the suite is efficiency, effectively and fairly distributed throughout the course of each season.
THE SARNIA STING HOCKEY CLUB WILL ASSIGN YOUR GROUP OR SUCCESSFUL BIDDER/WINNER A DATE. BASED ON SEQUENCE OF APPROVAL. REQUESTS FOR SPECIFIC GAMES CAN NOT BE ACCOMMODATED.
Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive via email a Letter of Assurance confirming your use of the Suite will be issued along with the tickets and parking passes for your game.
