Sting Take Local Player In Third Round

The Sarnia Sting have selected local forward Craig Hottot with the 10th pick in the third round of the OHL Priority Selection.

Hottot, a 1992 birth date went through last year’s Priority Selection undrafted but turned heads with his outstanding play this season with the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Hottot scored 24 goals in 52 games with the Legionnaires and had 16 points in 18 playoff games.

Following the selection of Hottot the Sting used their second pick of the third round on highly skilled forward Brandon Francisco.

Francisco a AA rated player had 107 points points in 72 games with the York Simcoe Express last season.
