Alessandro Di Iorio Named Captain Of The Sarnia Sting
The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club is proud to announce its leadership group for the remainder of the 2025–26 Ontario Hockey League season, headlined by forward Alessandro Di Iorio, who has been named the team’s captain.

He made an immediate impact in his rookie season, establishing himself as one of the league’s most dynamic young forwards while consistently demonstrating maturity, professionalism, and a team-first mentality. His leadership extends beyond the OHL stage, having represented Canada at multiple national events, including the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, where he wore an “A”.
