Holiday Cheer Comes to The Hive for Two Festive Home Games
The Sarnia Sting will bring holiday spirit and community support to The Hive this December with two themed home games. Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy festive entertainment, take part in charitable initiatives, and experience exciting OHL hockey before the holiday break.
Christmas at the Hive – Sunday, December 14 at 2:05 PM
Presented by Mainstreet Credit Union and supporting the Inn of the Good Shepherd, “Christmas at the Hive” is one of the most anticipated theme days of the season.
Christmas-Themed Game Jerseys
As tradition, the Sting will take the ice in custom Christmas-themed jerseys.
These unique sweaters will be worn live during the game, then signed and auctioned off.

Supporting the Inn of the Good Shepherd
In addition to the jersey auction, fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item, if able, to further support the Inn’s food programs. The organization provides essential services to local families throughout the year.

Toy Drive Game – Wednesday, December 17 at 7:05 PM
The Sting wrap up their pre-holiday home schedule with the annual Toy Drive, presented by Maple Mutual Insurance.
Bring a Toy to Support Local Charities
Fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy, if they are able, and place it under one of the three decorated Christmas trees located on the concourse.
All collected toys will be counted, sorted, and distributed to local charity partners.
Each donation helps ensure that children in our community receive a gift this holiday season.
Holiday Atmosphere
Christmas themes will continue as part of the in-arena entertainment, with festive music, graphics, and family-friendly features planned throughout the night. It is the final home game before the holiday break, making it a perfect night to gather at The Hive.
