Sam Sedley Named Huron Tractor Player of the Week
Attack defensemen Sam Sedley has been named the Huron Tractor Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season.
Sedley picked up five assists in the Attack’s final two games of the season, including the primary assist on Colby Barlow’s overtime winner Saturday night, which got Barlow to the 30 goal milestone mark.
All season Sedley has drove offence from the blue line for the Bears, as he finished with 4 goals, 38 assists for 42 points. Those numbers were good enough to rank the Attack blue liner among the top 20 in defensemen scoring throughout the league, with his 38 assists ranking him in the top 15 among all defensemen.
The Attack will continue to look to Sedley to help contribute offence as the team prepares for their first round playoff matchup against the Flint Firebirds.
