Attack Travel to Sarnia Friday
The Owen Sound Attack will travel to Sarnia this Friday to take on the Sting for the 2nd time in as many games before returning home on Saturday for the start of five straight home games. The Owen Sound Attack will only play two road games the entire month of October while playing seven at home at the Bayshore.
Friday, October 5th: Owen Sound @ Sarnia – The Owen Sound Attack will look to rebound from a disappointing performance last Saturday night at home against the Sarnia Sting and collect win number four on the Season Friday evening. Despite the loss, the Attack still sit atop the MidWest division with a 3-1-0-1 record and 7 out of a possible 10 points. Cameron Brace leads the Attack in scoring with 9 points in 5 games and currently sits 2nd amongst OHL scorers behind Generals forward Boone Jenner.
Look Out For: There is no question that Attack fans have seen more of Sting goaltender JP Anderson than any other goalie in the OHL over the past two seasons. The former Mississauga netminder saw the Attack 10 times in 2010/2011, another 4 times in 2011/2012 (2 with Mississauga, 2 with Sarnia) and once already this season. With Sarnia having a full week off, you can likely bet you’ll see JP Anderson for a 16th time on Friday.
Tale of the Tape: Owen Sound (3-1-0-1) First in MidWest. Sarnia (1-2-0-1) Fifth in West.
Catch the Action On: Friday’s game can be heard live on 560 CFOS with Fred Wallace and Terry’s Trailer Service/Kia of Owen Sound Bear Radio. The action can also be seen live on Rogers TV Local Channel 53 beginning at 7:00pm.
