WHL Clubs Open Training Camp this week

Calgary, AB — The 2010-11 Western Hockey League season is quickly approaching as many WHL Clubs officially open training camps this week.nbsp;Beginning Wednesday, August 25th, many Clubs welcome players for registration, while on-ice sessions for 13 Clubs begin on Thursday, August 26th.nbsp; By the weekend, almost all WHL Clubs will be putting players through paces on the ice in preparation for the 2010-11 WHL regular season, which begins on Friday, September 24th.nbsp;The 2010 WHL pre-season begins on Wednesday, September 1st, with two games on the schedule including the Moose Jaw Warriors welcoming the Swift Current Broncos and the Prince Albert Raiders playing host to the Saskatoon Blades.nbsp;nbsp;The 2010 WHL exhibition schedule again features three pre-season tournaments.nbsp; The Everett Silvertips host their annual pre-season tournament on the first weekend of September that will include U.S. (more…)
