Fans Can Autograph Rinkboard for WHL Final

Your local Toyota Dealers want to give Winterhawks fans a unique chance to show their support for the team and enjoy the warm temperatures as the Hawks make their drive to the 2014 Western Hockey League Championship.

Over the coming days the Winterhawks will be taking a rinkboard banner out to various Portland/Vancouver locations in the Toyota/Winterhawks Tundra Pickup, with fans able to sign the rinkboard to offer encouragement to the Hawks as they prepare to take on the Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL Championship.

The banner will then be installed on the Moda Center’s ice-level rinkboards where it will be visible for the players to see during the WHL Final, which begins Saturday.

The first 20 fans to sign the banner at each event will receive either a Winterhawks water bottle or a Toyota/Winterhawks hat to help enjoy the warm weather in our 80+ degree temperatures.

This is a great opportunity for fans to show their support to the Winterhawks before and during the WHL Final. The Winterhawks currently have the highest average attendance of any team in the WHL playoffs, and our fan support is well known throughout the league. With their autographs visible right at ice level for the players and fans to see during the game, the Hawks will know that Portland is behind them in their drive to the team’s second consecutive WHL Championship.

Thursday, May 1:
Noon – 1:00 p.m.: Buffalo Wild Wings, 7704 NE 5th Avenue, Vancouver WA  
6:00-7:00 p.m.: Winterhawks Skating Center, 9250 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, Beaverton, OR

Friday, May 2:

3:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Lloyd Center Buffalo Wild Wings

6:00 – 7:00 p.m.: Nicoli’s Grill and Sports Bar, 17880 SW McEwan Rd, Lake Oswego, OR  

Saturday, May 3:
4:30 – 5:30 p.m.:  Dr Jack’s Restaurant on the Rose Quarter Campus (prior to Game 1 of the WHL Final)
