Marcus Nguyen started the 2021-22 season strong with four goals in four preseason games and continued that goal scoring touch during the regular season. Nguyen led all Portland rookies with 22 goals and 40 points in 68 games. The speedy winger saw his NHL draft stock rise during the second half of the season and has a strong chance of getting selected on Day 2 of the 2022 NHL Draft in Montreal.
