SIGNING | Warriors sign four prospects to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements
MOOSE JAW, Sask. – The Moose Jaw Warriors have announced that they have signed 2011-born goaltender Gavin Craig, 2010-born forward Linden Abercrombie, 2010-born forward Brady Oatman, and 2010-born defenceman Isaac Rimmer to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.
“Adding these four players will bring more depth, skill, and competitiveness to our organization,” said General Manager Jason Ripplinger. “We are looking forward to watching them grow as a group.”
Craig (6’0, 172 lbs) was drafted 49th overall at the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft. From Langley, British Columbia, Craig played last season with the Yale Hockey Academy U15 Prep team. He was named the CSSHL goaltender of the year after posting a 15-2 record, 1.96 goals-against average, and a save percentage of .935.
Abercrombie (6’3, 173 lbs) was drafted 90th overall by the Moose Jaw Warriors at the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. From Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Abercrombie played last season with the Prince Albert Mintos of the SMU18AAAHL. In 38 games, Abercrombie totaled six goals and 18 points. Abercrombie will return to the Mintos for the 2026-2027 season.
Oatman (6’1, 172 lbs) was listed by the Warriors at the conclusion of last year’s training camp. Last season with the Delta Hockey Academy U17 Prep team, Oatman recorded 14 goals and 42 points as well as 34 penalty minutes, through 30 games.
Isaac Rimmer (6’2, 172 lbs) was drafted 71st overall by the Moose Jaw Warriors at the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Rimmer played last season with the Calgary International Hockey Academy (CIHA) U17 Prep team. Rimmer registered one goal and 11 points and 30 penalty minutes through 28 games. As a call-up with the CIHA U18 prep team, Rimmer added two assists through five games.
The Moose Jaw Warriors kick off the 2026-2027 season at the Temple Gardens Centre on Saturday, September 19. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 pm.
