rThe Pats faced the Red Deer Rebels for the second time this season, and for the second time it was a 2-1 win in a shoot-out. Goaltender Damien Ketlo got the start for the second straight night, and was fantastic stopping 37 of 38 shots as well as kicking away 2 of 3 Rebels in the shoot-out. Matt Strueby scored the lone goal for the Pats and leads the team with 9 markers on the season. Both Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal scored in the shoot-out,

Road Trip:
rThe front part of the schedule has been very friendly to the Pats. Six of their first nine games have been at the friendly confines of the ‘Dome, getting points in all six of their matchups (3-0-1-2).

Tonight is the final of a 4 game road trip through the Central Division which began with a Thanksgiving Monday loss to the Hurricanes. Wednesday the Pats found their offensive spark in a wild 7-5 victory past the Edmonton Oil Kings. When the four game trip through the central Division is over, the Pats will have a lengthy 5 game home stand, beginning Tuesday night against the red hot Saskatoon Blades.
