This puts him in a tie with Rhett Gordon (Pats 92-96) on the modern Pats all-time goal list (1966-present) just one goal back of Len Nielsen (82-87) and 2 back of Gary Dickie (85-89) and Rob Tudor (72-76). Eberle’s 210 points puts him past Jeff Shantz (89-93) and is now 4 points back of Darren Veitch (76-80) on the all time points list.
r
Eberle’s Return:
rSince he missed the first 5 games of the season because of Edmonton Oiler training camp, Jordan Eberle is making up for lost time. He has 4 goals and 2 assists in his first two games back as a Regina Pat.
r
Davidson Making a quiet impact:
rRookie defenceman, Brandon Davidson has flown under the radar on the Pats this season. He is the club leader in points by a defenceman with 5 (1g, 4a) which puts him in 7th in rookie scoring and tied for 9th defensive scoring.
rLeffler leads the way:
r20 year old forward, Brett Leffler, wants to go out with a bang…and so far so good. He is the club leader in assists (7), points (10) and plus/minus (7).
r
Pats Specialty Teams
rOne of the strong points to the Pats play this season has been their ability to kill penalties. At 88.9%, they are the 6th best team in the WHL killing penalties. The unit has killed 30 of 45 penalties including a stellar 25 of 27 at home. While their power play unit has caught fire and is now in the top third of the WHL at 24.1%.
r
Pats Acquire Hutt:
rMonday, the Regina Pats acquired RW Killian Hutt from the Portland Winterhawks in exchange for a 2010 4th round WHL Bantam pick and a conditional 2011 pick. Hutt is a solid offensive player who had 35 points on a Winterhawk team that struggled last season. Hutt scored in his first game as a Pat on Wednesday night.
