RECAP: Team White Defeats Team Blue 8-4, Sunday
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats officially wrapped up their 2026 Training Camp on Sunday afternoon, with Team White scoring four unanswered goals in the third period to defeat Team Blue 8-4 at the Brandt Centre.
The Blue squad came out flying, scoring three goals in a span of just 37 seconds early in the opening period.
Parker Fitzgerald opened the scoring at 4:53, finishing off a play set up by Jack Bissoon and Ethan Dundas. Just 20 seconds later, Dundas doubled the lead with Fitzgerald and Cohen Klassen picking up the assists.
Caden Ulmer then made it 3-0 at 5:30, with Tyson Wolanski and Hunter Wilm assisting on the goal.
Team White responded with three straight goals of its own to tie the game before the end of the first period.
White took its first lead of the afternoon at 5:38 of the second period when Farrell scored. Team Blue answered at 8:38, as Ossi Tukio tied the game 4-4. The game remained tied heading into the third period, where Team White took control with four unanswered goals.
Trottier scored his second of the afternoon at 10:26 to put White ahead 5-4, with Schultz and Farrell assisting.
Riley Rubidge extended the lead to 6-4 at 12:06 during 4-on-4 play, with Jacob Tait and Sejna picking up the assists.
Trottier completed his hat trick at 14:58, again with Schultz and Farrell assisting, to make it 7-4. Sejna capped off the scoring with his second goal of the game at 19:50, giving White the 8-4 victory. Trottier (3G-1A), Schultz (1G-3A) and Farrell (1G-3A) each finished the contest with four points.
Team White outshot Team Blue 34-32, while both teams went scoreless on the power play, with Blue going 0-for-6 and White going 0-for-3. Fletcher MacDonald and Jacob Appleby split the goaltending duties for Team White, combining for 28 saves. Dawson Sheehan and Drake Limpert shared the crease for Team Blue, making 26 saves.
