Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats host the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday at 6pm! This will mark the fifth of six games against U.S. opponents this season.

GAME PREVIEW
The Regina Pats are coming off their biggest comeback win of the season on Friday, defeating the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-4 in overtime. The Pats trailed 3-0 after one, and scored three goals in the second period to tie things up, making it a new game.
Zach Pantelakis scored the overtime winner and Ewan Huet made 22 saves. 10 different players gathered at least a point. 16-year-old forwards Cohen Klassen and Cameron Kuzma scored, as well as Julien Maze and Keets Fawcett. The final shots were 31-26 for Regina, outshooting an opponent for the eighth time in their last nine games.
The Pats are now 5-5-2 in their last 12 games. They had dropped 15 of 16 games prior to this stretch.
The Portland Winterhawks began their Eastern Division swing with a 6-3 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday at Westoba Place. The win breaks a two game skid for the Hawks.
Alex Weiermair scored twice and Jordan Duguay (1G-2A) tallied three points. Ryder Thompson, Reed Brown and Ryan Miller rounded out the scoring while Ondrej Štěbeták made 29 saves. The Winterhawks were 0-3 on their power play and 3-3 on their penalty kill.
WHO TO WATCH
Last night, the kids led the charge as four of the Pats five goals were scored by players under 18-years-old. Zach Pantelakis continues to stay hot for the Pats, collecting points in seven of his last eight games (5G-3A) with eight points during that time. In addition, Julien Maze has scored in back-to-back games and has nine goals this season.
Since coming down from Univ. of Denver, Alex Weiermair has tallied 15 points (8G-7A) in 13 games with the Winterhawks, including two goals in their last game. Meanwhile, overage defenceman and Michigan State Univ. commit Tyson Jugnauth leads all WHL defencemen with 52 points (8G-44A) in 37 games.
COMING UP
The Regina Pats continue their three game homestand with two home games this week. Wednesday, the Pats will host the Red Deer Rebels for the first time this season. Friday, the Pats will take on the Edmonton Oil Kings. The Club will then head on a three game Alberta road trip where they will take on Calgary, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge.
