GAME DAY: Sunday Dec. 15 vs. Tri-City
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (13-13-4-0) play their final contest before the holiday break this afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre against the visiting Tri-City Americans (19-7-2-1), who will be playing their fourth game in five days.
The G-Men brought the teddy bears down early last night in the annual Preston Chevrolet Teddy Bear Toss, however they squandered a 2-0 first period lead, with the Victoria Royals taking a 3-2 advantage in the second stanza and ultimately winning the contest 6-3 with an empty-net goal.
The Giants are now back to .500 for the first time all season long.
Today Vancouver is hosting a toy drive in partnership with the Township of Langley Firefighters, so fans are encouraged to bring toys to donate for the Christmas season, which will be donated to the Langley Christmas Bureau.

Tri-City had a league-high 12-game win streak earlier this season from Oct. 12 – Nov. 11, but since then have gone 6-4-1-1.
The Giants won the only previous meeting this season, a 3-2 overtime victory on the road on Dec. 6.
