GAME DAY: Saturday, Dec. 14 vs. Victoria
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (13-12-4-0) will look for a bounce back performance in tonight’s annual Preston Chevrolet Teddy Bear Toss at the LEC when they host the Victoria Royals (16-10-3-2) at 7 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre.
The G-Men were blanked 4-0 by the Royals last night on the road in the first of eight meetings this season, and the first of four matchups in the next two and a half weeks, with them also playing a home-and-home on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The Giants hadn’t been shutout this season until last night.

Last season, Jaden Lipinski scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal on Dec. 9 in what turned out to be an 8-7 loss to Everett, but was also one of the most entertaining games of the year. In 2022, Dylan Anderson scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal in a 3-2 overtime win over Kelowna.
The Giants have scored 62 goals on home ice in 14 games, for an average of 4.43 goals per game. Vancouver has alternated win-loss in their last eight games (4-4). Victoria is 4-4-2 in their last 10, but has the third-most road wins in the WHL with 9.
