Giants Teddy Bear Toss & Toy Drive Information: Dec. 14 & 15
Langley, B.C. — The Vancouver Giants host the annual Preston Chevrolet Teddy Bear Toss this coming Saturday, Dec. 14, when they welcome the Victoria Royals to the Langley Events Centre at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 15, the Giants are hosting a toy drive in partnership with the Township of Langley Firefighters in what will be the team’s final home game before the holiday break: a 4 p.m. puck drop against the Tri-City Americans.
Saturday Promotion: Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Preston Chevrolet.
Saturday Puck drop: 7:00 PM (Doors open at 5:30 p.m. – arrive early if you can!)
Sunday Promotion: Toy Drive, presented by Save on Foods, in partnership with the Township of Langley Firefighters.
Sunday Puck Drop: 4:00 PM (Doors open at 2:30 p.m. – arrive early if you can!)

Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear/stuffed animal to Saturday’s game, but if you don’t have one, you can purchase a stuffed animal at the top of Gate 2 or Gate 7 by making a minimum $15 donation. Proceeds will support the Langley Christmas Bureau and the Township of Langley Firefighters Charitable Society. Cash and credit will be accepted. Thank you to the TLFCS for providing the bears!
All bears collected from Saturday are going to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
There will be lots going on in the banquet hall during Saturday’s game.
There is a hockey memorabilia auction from House of Hockey and at Gate 2 there will be a Teddy Bear photo booth! Plus, the Giants are running a Teddy Bear goal scorer prediction contest on their Twitter/X feed. Post your prediction in response to the @WHLGiants post on Saturday and one random winner will go home with a signed puck from the Teddy Bear goal scorer.
On Sunday, fans are encouraged to bring toys to donate for the Christmas season, which will be donated to the Langley Christmas Bureau.
There is also another Save on Foods post-game skate with the players, who will be joined on the ice following the game by Santa.
Additionally, there will be a Puck Toss in the second intermission. Pucks will be 3 for $10, with all chuck-a-puck sales going to the TLFCS. The prize for the chuck-a-puck winner is a signed Michael Bublé Giants Jersey, dinner at the Barley Merchant and a Loge table for four.
