In the Community
The Sarnia Sting we’re busy again this week in the Community, with a number of different appearances and visits taking place.
Justin Fazio and Taylor Dupuis visited St. Philips Elementary School in Petrolia on Monday morning and read the books ‘Just Kidding’ and ‘Don’t Laugh at Me’ to the students, encouraging respect and proper choice making. Principal Mark Renaud comments, “Thanks for working with me in advance and giving the guys the opportunity to speak to our kids, kicking off our Anti-Bullying Week. They did a fantastic job talking about the importance of doing well academically in school and highlighted that high school offers several opportunities for students to get involved from athletics, student life, drama, and music.”

On Monday night, Noah Bushnell, Alex Black and Troy Lajeunesse attended Boston Pizza’s Dinner with the Sting where they spent a couple hours chatting with the kids and enjoying a meal. The next BP Dinner with the Sting is scheduled for Monday, December 8th at 6:00 PM.
Tonight at 6:00 p.m., Alex Black, Troy Lajeunesse, Noah Bushnell, Jordan Kyrou and Jake O’Donnell will be helping out with a minor hockey practice at Germain Arena.
