Battalion Down Sting 6-2
Sarnia, ON – Three games in three days seems to have taken its toll on the Sarnia Sting Saturday night at the SSEC.
Following back to back strong performances versus Sault Ste. Marie and London the Sting came up flat with the Brampton Battalion in town.
The Battalion would score 3 in the first period 2 in the second and 1 in the third.
Colorado first rounder Wojtek Wolski continued his hot play of late scoring a hat trick and adding an assist for a 4 point night.
The Sting would get on the board twice in the third on goals by Jared Gomes and Harrison Reed.
For Gomes it extended his goal scoring streak to 3 games.
The Sting have Sunday off and return to action this coming Thursday when the Erie Otters come to town.
