GAME REPORT | Sting Dominate Knights in 6-2 Victory
The Sarnia Sting visited the London Knights on Friday night at Budweiser Gardens.
It was one of the Sting’s most dominant performances this season.
After a scoreless first period, it was game on.
Moving right into the second, Knights forward Sam Miletic scored the game’s opening goal. Miletic went between the legs to send the puck past Sting goaltender Justin Fazio.
Coming back with power, Sting forward Hugo Leufvenius scored less than twenty seconds later. Leufvenius scored on a powerful shot thanks to a strong setup rush from linemate Sean Josling.

Just moments after, Sting defenceman Connor Schlichting scored his fourth of the season. Schlichting was playing deep in the London zone and lobbed a backhand on net. It found its way through Knights goaltender Joseph Raaymakers, and the Sting took a 2-1 lead.
Brady Hinz kept things going. Hinz picked up a loose puck in the London crease and put it home. It was Hinz’s thirteenth of the year.
Anthony Salinitri then absolutely wired one past Raaymakers. Salinitri went blocker-side. Raaymakers was pulled in favour of backup goalie Jordan Kooy.
