Sting Well Represented In Coaches Poll
Sarnia, ON – The Ontario Hockey League has released the results from the annual OHL Coaches Poll and several members of the Sting were named in the various categories.
Trevor Kell was named the Western Conference’s Most Underrated Player and second year defenceman Mark Katic was named the Best Skater.
Captain Ryan Wilson led the way in the amount of categories placed in, as he was mentioned in the top three in three different categories. Wilson was third in Hardest Shot, Best Body Checker and Best Offensive Defenceman.
Rookie sensation Steven Stamkos also caught the eye of the coaches in two categories. Stamkos finished second as the Smartest Player and was third in the Best Stickhandler.
