Team Gold wins 6-5 in a shootout over Team Black

The Kingston Frontenacs wrapped up the 2023 training camp with a morning scrimmage between Team Black and Team Gold. Yesterday three teams went head-to-head, but today those three times were merged into two and a full game with stoppage time was played. 

 

The game was fast paced and saw multiple lead changes throughout the 45 minutes of play. Team Gold held the lead 5-4 with only 2 minutes to play, but Team Black made a final push and capitalised on a goal by Adam Cavallin to tie the game. When the buzzer sounded, the game was 5-5 and needed a shootout to crown a winner. 

 

Linus Hemstrom scored the lone goal to seal the victory for Team Gold.
