Country Night, sponsored by Kingston’s New Country 98.9, is coming to Slush Puppie Place on Friday, October 16, 2026, as the Kingston Frontenacs welcome the rival Oshawa Generals for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. This Rivalry Matchup, presented by Slapshot Signatures, will feature exciting OHL action as the Frontenacs face one of their most familiar opponents. Fans are encouraged to break out their boots and western wear for a lively Friday night filled with country music and themed entertainment.
The evening will feature a special New Country 98.9 takeover, a live performance by local country artist Abbey Stewart and a petting zoo for fans to enjoy before the game. Slapshot Signatures will also be on site with a concourse table, offering fans the opportunity to purchase unique sports memorabilia and collectibles.
