Fronts Playing for National Teams

Erik Gudbranson and the Team Canada under 20 team is 2-0 at the World Junior Hockey Championship, after a crushing 7-2 victory over the Czech Republic. The Czech’s opened the scoring on their first shot of the game, but Canada responded with seven unanswered goals, en route to the victory. Canada’s next game is against Norway on Wednesday evening.

Elsewhere at the World Junior tournament, goaltender Philipp Grubauer has played a pair of strong games for team Germany, with the German’s coming up on the short side of two one goal games, the most recent, being a 2-1 overtime loss to Slovakia. Germany’s next game is against Finland on Wednesday.

Alex Gudbranson and the team Canada under-17 team completed their exhibition tune-up and will begin their tournament on Wednesday at 7:30PM against the Czech Republic

The Kingston Frontenacs are back in action on Wednesday night as well, as they will travel to Ottawa to face the 67’s.
