Winterhawks, Chiefs to play preseason game at Eastern Washington University
Portland, Ore. – The Portland Winterhawks have announced an additional preseason game against the Spokane Chiefs on Thursday, September 15. The game is scheduled to be played at URC Ice Arena at Eastern Washington University with a 5:00 p.m. PT puck drop.
The Spokane Chiefs will operate as the host club for this preseason game and are selling tickets for this preseason contest here. The Winterhawks’ other four previously announced preseason dates will be played as scheduled.
Portland’s five total preseason match-ups are as follows:
- Friday, Sept. 9 vs. Seattle (in Everett, Wash.) – 2:00 p.m. – PURCHASE TICKETS
- Sunday, Sept. 11 vs. Everett (in Everett, Wash.) – 4:00 p.m. – PURCHASE TICKETS
- Thursday, Sept. 15 vs. Spokane (in Cheney, Wash.) – 5:00 p.m. – PURCHASE TICKETS
- Friday, Sept. 16 vs. Spokane (in Kennewick, Wash.) – 3:05 p.m. – PURCHASE TICKETS
- Saturday, Sept. 17 vs. Tri-City (in Kennewick, Wash.) – 6:05 p.m. – PURCHASE TICKETS
Tickets for all preseason games can be purchased through the host teams: Everett Silvertips (September 9 and 11), Spokane Chiefs (September 15), and Tri-City Americans (September 16 and 17).
