On Saturday, January 10, the Portland Winterhawks unveiled numbers 30-21 on the list of the Top 50 Winterhawks of All Time, presented by KOIN CW.

30 – Nino Niederreiter

• Scored 4 regular season OT winning goals, tied for the most in franchise history.

• His playing rights were acquired in a trade from Everett Silvertips.
• Posted 56 points as an 18-year-old rookie defenseman in 2012-13, the highest in franchise history. His 42 assists were the highest total for any rookie in the WHL.
• Posted 15 points in the playoffs in 2012-13, the highest in franchise history.
• Received the WHL Rookie of the Year award and was named a First Team Western Conference All-Star for the 2012-13 season.
• Received CHL Top Draft Prospect Award in 2012-13.
• Represented Team USA at the World Junior Championships in 2013, winning a gold medal. Lead all defensemen in the tournament with six assists.
• Drafted in 1^st round, 4^th overall, by Nashville Predators in 2013 NHL.
• Has appeared in nearly 900 NHL games with Nashville, Columbus, Chicago and Florida, winning the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers in 2025.
