Johnson Signs WHL Standard Player Agreement with Portland
Portland, Ore. – The Portland Winterhawks, proud member club of the Western Hockey League, announced today that they have signed forward Nicholas Johnson to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
The Calgary, Alta. native puts pen to paper with Portland after playing over 60 games with the Edge School Prep program for the past three seasons. Johnson averaged a goal-per-game (5G, 4A) in five games during the shortened 2020-21 season and he will play for the U18 program this year.
