Weal Signs with Kings
Los Angeles, California/Regina, Saskatchewan – Los Angeles Kings President/General Manager, Dean Lombardi announced tonight that Jordan Weal has officially tendered a standard 3-year player contract with the NHL’s Kings.
Jordan, who turned 19 this past Friday, led the Pats in every offensive category and was tied for 5th in the WHL in scoring with 96 points and a league 9th best in goals with 43. Over the past two seasons, Weal has racked up 198 points without missing a game.
Jordan was originally chosen by the Pats in the fourth round, 79th overall in the 2007 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, and has been with the Pats ever since. He is starting to climb the Pats all-time list in assists and points. At the end of the 2010-11 season he is 15th all-time in points (269) and 12th all-time in assists (175).

The Kings selected Jordan in the 3rd round, 70th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
