Pats Down Hurricanes for Third Straight Win
The Regina Pats extended their winning streak against the Lethbridge Hurricanes to six games on Tuesday night with a 6-1 victory at the Brandt Centre. The Pats scored four times in the first period and didn’t look back en-route to their third consecutive win. The Pats were led by Filip Ahl who had two goals and an assist while Sam Steel scored his eighth and ninth goals of the year. Tyler Brown made 22 saves for his fourth win and the Pats outshot the Hurricanes 38-23 in the contest. The Pats (7-0-3-0) are back in action on Friday night at the Brandt Centre against the Spokane Chiefs at 7 p.m.
