Pats Close Pre-Season in Prince Albert
Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats (1-5-0-0) visit the Prince Albert Raiders (1-4-0-0) tonight at the Art Hauser Centre (7 p.m.). The teams have split their meetings in the pre-season thus far. The Pats grabbed a 7-4 win over the Raiders during the Regina Pats Rookie Showcase. Prince Albert responded with a 5-2 victory Wednesday night at the Brandt Centre. Tonight is the pre-season finale for both squads. The Pats open their regular season Thursday, September 24 in Moose Jaw while the Raiders get going the next night in Saskatoon. Tonight’s game can be heard on RM2 at Sportscage.ca with Benentt Dunlop Ford Pats Hockey starting at 6:35 p.m. ahead of the 7 p.m. puck drop.

Solidifying the Roster
The Pats reassigned three more skaters yesterday afternoon returning Gary Haden, Adam Sandstrom and Dawson Barteaux to their midget clubs. Haden had four points (1G, 3A) in five pre-season contests while Sandstrom and Barteaux were both held pointless in exhibition action.
Welcome Back
19-year old forward Adam Brooks returned to the Pats on Wednesday following a successful rookie tournament with the New York Rangers. Brooks picked up a goal in his first game of the tournament. The Winnipeg, MB product is expected to be one of the Pats top players following a 30-goal season in 2014-15.
Joining the Vets
Three Pats have moved on from their rookie camps or tournaments to join main camps. Sergey Zborovskiy remains with the New York Rangers following the Traverse City Tournament, Connor Hobbs is still with the Washington Capitals following a successful tournament in Estero, Florida and Austin Wagner sped his way into main camp with the Los Angeles Kings. Former Pats Braden Christoffer and Pavel Padakin are headed to main camp with the Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers respectively.
