Logan McVeigh Placed on Waivers
Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club announced today the team has placed over-age forward Logan McVeigh on waivers ahead of tomorrow’s Over-age Deadline. The WHL Waiver Draft takes place Wednesday, October 15th at 3 p.m. CST.
McVeigh was acquired along with Daniel Wapple from the Medicine Hat Tigers last season and played 28 games in his Pats career, registering nine points (4G, 5A). Overall, the Kenaston, SK product has played in 267 WHL games while tallying 116 points (45G, 71A).
The Pats thank Logan for his contributions to the organization and the community of Regina.
This move brings the Pats down to the requisite number of over-age players and the roster to 24 players (15 forwards, 6 defencemen and 3 goaltenders).
The Blue and White are in action this weekend as the team heads out on the road for three games in three nights through Kootenay, Lethbridge and Calgary. Games can be heard on 620 CKRM starting 25 minutes before puck drop.
