This will be the first of four meetings this season between the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Regina Pat. These two played to a split with each team winning their home battles. Brett Leffler and Matt Strueby led the way with 6 points each, while 2 of Leffler’s goals came on the power play.

For the second time in 10 days, the Regina Pats out-shot and out-played the Prince Albert Raiders, and for the second time, Garrett Zemlak stole the show, stopping 41 of 42 Pats shot en route to the 4-1 win. Colten Teubert scored the lone Pats goal, spoiling the shut-out in the third period with a power play marker. Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal assisted on the goal.

Jordan Eberle is currently the Pats active leader in goals with 117 for his Pat career. This pushes him into the top 20 all time and in a tie with Clark Gillies (71-74), and is now 3 back of Jeff Friesen (91-95) for 15th on the all-time goal list. Eberle’s 229 points pushes him past Jamie Heward (87-91) and is 2 back of Rhett Gordon (92-96).
