PREVIEW: Pats rematch Raiders at Art Hauser Centre
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats last faced off against the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday, picking up a 5-2 win, and they rematch them today with puck drop set for 7:00 p.m., at the Art Hauser Centre.

The Regina Pats have just three games left in the 2023-24 regular season as they battle the Prince Albert Raiders for the final time. The Pats enter today’s contest with a 22-37-4-2 record and 50 points, which is 11th in the East. The Pats are coming off a weekend split, defeating Prince Albert 5-2 on Friday before falling 6-3 on Sunday to Moose Jaw with both games on home ice.
Sunday, the Pats got goals from Corbin Vaughan, Zane Rowan and Anthony Wilson as well as two assists from Carson Haynes, and 30 saves from Ewan Huet. The Pats would get as close as trailing 3-2 in the third period before the Warriors added three more to eventually take it 6-3. The shots were 36-24 for the Warriors. The Pats went 0-2 on their power play and 4-6 on their penalty kill.
Entering today’s game, Corban Almen is riding a four game point-streak (1G-3A) while Anthony Wilson has goals in back-to-back games.
The Prince Albert Raiders have lost their last three games and are just three points ahead of the Calgary Hitmen in the playoff race with the Raiders holding the eighth seed. The Raiders are 30-30-2-3 with 65 points with just three games left in the season. The Hitmen are 27-30-7-1 with 62 points and also have three games left to play.
In their last three contests, Prince Albert has lost 4-2 to Swift Current, 5-2 to Regina and 3-2 to Brandon. In their one goal loss to Brandon on Saturday at Westoba Place, Justice Christensen scored for a second straight game and Aiden Oiring found the back of the net with his 18th of the year. Max Hildebrand made 26 saves in the loss. The Shots were 29-26 for the Wheat Kings. The Raiders went 0-4 on their power play and 2-3 on their penalty kill.
