PREVIEW: Pats host Raiders on Better Together Tuesday
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats are back in action tonight as they begin a three game homestand against the Prince Albert Raiders. Puck drop is set for 7pm at the Brandt Centre.

The Regina Pats battle the Prince Albert Raiders in the third of eight meetings this season with the season series even at one game apiece. Tonight’s contest will mark a rematch from last Wednesday, as the Raiders skated home with a 5-1 win over the Pats at the Brandt Centre.
The Pats are looking to break a five game skid. The Pats are coming off another hard fought battle, falling 4-2 to the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday despite outshooting them 39-32. Tanner Howe and Brayden Smith each scored for Regina, with both of them third period goals. Kelton Pyne made 28 saves in the loss. The Pats went 2-4 on their penalty kill and 0-6 on their power play.
Meanwhile, the Prince Albert Raiders suffered a 9-4 loss to the Broncos on Friday at the Art Hauser Centre, falling to 3-5 over their last eight contests. The Raiders got goals from Aiden Oiring (1G-2A), Niall Crocker (1G-1A), Ty Meunier and Brayden Dube in the loss. Tomas Mrsic tallied two helpers and Brock Cripps picked up his first WHL point with an assist. The Raiders were outshot 42-33. Prince Albert was 2-5 on their power play and 5-6 on their penalty kill.
WHO TO WATCH
Tanner Howe is once again one of the players to watch tonight for the Pats, with four goals in four games so far this season. The Prince Albert, Sask. product has scored in three straight games since coming back from injury. Additionally, Cole Temple (2A), Tye Spencer (1G-1A) and Jaxsin Vaughan (1G-1A) are riding two game point-streaks.
For the Raiders, 20-year-old forward Niall Crocker has scored in three straight games, and has eight points (3G-5A) during that stretch. The Delta, B.C. product leads the Raiders with 19 points (7G-12A) in 14 games.

The Regina Pats will play the second game of their three game homestand on Friday at 7pm against the Brandon Wheat Kings. The Pats will then play the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Sunday, November 10 at 2pm.
