PREVIEW: Pats Host Raiders For Final Time This Season
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats (25-34-3-2) host the Prince Albert Raiders (26-34-4-1) on Saturday at 7:00 p.m., inside the Brandt Centre.
The Pats are coming off a 4-2 win over the Swift Current Broncos on Friday, snapping the clubs three game losing-streak, while finishing the season series 3-3.
Connor Bedard’s two goals broke the Pats 16-year-old record for goals and points in a single season. Logan Nijhoff (1G-1A) & Parker Berge (2A) each tallied multi-point games, while Borya Valis scored on his birthday. Kelton Pyne was once again the story in net, as he was named first star, allowing just two goals on 39 shots, as the Pats were outshot 39-26. Both teams went 0-for-3 on their respective power plays.
For the Prince Albert Raiders, they are coming off a 2-0 loss to the Saskatoon Blades on Friday. They now have three games left on their schedule, while just two points back of the Broncos for eighth in the Eastern Conference standings. The Raiders will play the Broncos in Swift Current on Friday, April 15th, before wrapping up their season on Saturday, April 16th at home against the Brandon Wheat Kings.
The Raiders are 2-2 over their last four games.

- Kelton Pyne made the most saves (37) in a victory in his WHL career, as he helped the Pats defeat the Broncos 4-2 on Friday.
