Bedard & Svozil Reach WJC Quarter-Finals
Edmonton, Alta. – Regina Pats star forward Connor Bedard and Canada clinched top spot in Group A at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship with a 6-3 victory versus Finland Monday, setting up a quarter-final matchup against Switzerland Wednesday, at 5:00 p.m., MDT.
Bedard finished the preliminary round with three goals and four assists for seven points in four contests. His seven points are currently tied for fourth in tournament scoring, while his three goals are also tied for fourth.

Meanwhile, Pats defenceman Stanislav Svozil totaled one goal and two assists for three points in three preliminary games, helping Czechia reach the quarter-finals as well, as his club finished with four points in Group A. They will play the United States from Group B, who went a perfect 4-0, Wednesday at 8:30 MDT.
