RECAP: Steel, Hobbs and Brown Lead Pats to 9th Consecutive Victory
Sam Steel and Connor Hobbs had four points apiece, Tyler Brown made 28 saves for the shutout and the Pats won their ninth straight game, 4-0 over the Calgary Hitmen on Wednesday night. Sam Steel got the scoring started with a highlight reel goal halfway through the first. Regina added two powerplay goals late in the frame and led 3-0. It stayed that way until the third when Connor Hobbs hammered home his 23rd of the season, also on the powerplay to make it 4-0 and that was the final score. The Pats outshot the Hitmen 30-28 in the win, the powerplay was three for six and the penalty kill was a perfect six for six.
