White Spot Giants This Week Recap: November 9

Last night on White Spot Giants This Week, Dan O’Connor kicked off the show with Brendan Batchelor. Batchelor, the former radio broadcaster with the Vancouver Giants is entering his fourth season as broadcaster with the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks. Together, O’Connor and Batchelor shared some broadcasting stories, and Batchelor reflected fondly on his tenure with the G-Men. You can hear that entire conversation here:

Then in Segment 2, Bowen Byram joined early on the share his thoughts on Team Canada’s World Junior Selection Camp and his level of excitement as he gets set to once again represent Canada at the World Juniors. Then, Seattle Thunderbirds broadcaster Thom Beuning joined the conversation and spoke about the current sports temperature in Seattle, and what lies ahead for the Seattle Thunderbirds in 2020-21.
