Giants Beat Blazers 4-3 in the Shootout
Brett Kulak scored the shootout winner as the Vancouver Giants beat the Kamloops Blazers 4-3 Saturday night at the Interior Savings Centre.
Kamloops’ Nick Chyzowski tied the game at three with less than 5 minutes in the third period to force overtime.
The Giants were held to only 1 shot in overtime, but got goals from Cain Franson and Kulak in the shootout to get the win.
Thomas Foster scored his first of the season. Blake Orban and Dalton Thrower also scored for Vancouver.
The Giants had 32 shots on goal and went 1-for-6 on the power play.
Payton Lee made 33 saves in the win for Vancouver.
