GAME DAY: Star Wars Night – Sunday, Dec. 29 vs. Kelowna
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (15-13-4-0) play their first home game of the second half on Sunday afternoon when they welcome the Kelowna Rockets (13-15-2-1) to the Langley Events Centre at 4 p.m.
The G-Men will march against the Rockets wearing all-white Stormtrooper uniforms, including themed jerseys, pants and socks, for Star Wars Night, presented by Save on Foods.
The Giants are coming off a solid 4-3 overtime win on the road on Friday night in Kamloops where four different players scored. Vancouver is now 5-4 in the month of December.
The Giants have only played Kelowna once so far this season: an 8-3 loss on the road on Nov. 22. Last year, they went 1-6-1 in eight head-to-head games.

The Rockets lost to Kamloops last night on home ice 3-1. They are currently without three key players who are competing in the World Junior Champiuonships: defenceman Caden Price (Canada), forwards Jakub Stancl (Czechia) and defenceman Marek Rocak (Czechia).
Vancouver is 5-5 in their last 10 games; Kelowna is 4-6.
