GAME DAY: Sunday Nov. 24 vs. Prince George
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (9-8-4-0) continue to work through a tough spell early in the season, as they look to break a six-game winless streak (0-4-2) this afternoon against the Prince George Cougars (13-5-3-2) at 4 p.m. PT at the Langley Events Centre.
Last night the G-Men fell 5-1 to the visiting Spokane Chiefs. This is the third game in three days for the Giants and the second of five straight games at home.
It’s also the fourth of eight meetings between Vancouver and Prince George in 2024-25. The G-Men are looking for their first win head-to-head, after dropping two road games on November 9 and 10, and also losing 6-3 on home ice to the Cougars on September 27.
The Cougars last played on Friday night at home, beating Kamloops 5-3.
The Giants are 3-4-3 in their last 10 games, while the Cougars are 7-1-1-1.
Each club will be without the services of an impact player today, as both forward Cameron Schmidt (Vancouver) and goaltender Joshua Ravensbergen (Prince George) are off to Ontario for next week’s CHL USA Prospects Challenge.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
The Player to Watch for the Giants is forward Adam Titlbach, who has arguably been one of the most consistent Giants this season.
He has recorded seven goals and seven assists for 14 points thus far in 21 games, but it’s his confidence and play away from the puck that has been a treat to watch. He has been using his teammates more and has shown chemistry with Connor Levis and Tyler Thorpe.
The left-shot forward has six points (3G-3A) in his last eight games, including a goal on Friday night in Kelowna.
The Player to Watch for the Cougars is forward Koehn Ziemmer, who as been a nightmare for the Giants this season.
In just two head-to-head games this season, the 20-year-old has five goals and an assist, including a hat-trick on November 9 and three-point game on November 10.
Ziemmer is one of just two players in the WHL (along with Vancouver’s Schmidt) with more than a goal-per-game, currently with 19 goals in 16 games. Today will also be his 200th career game in the WHL. In 199 games to date, the L.A Kings draft pick has 110 goals and 106 assists for 216 points. His 110 goals are 11 away from the all-time Cougars franchise record.
