CHIEFS FIGHT CANCER CAMPAIGN CONTINUES
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Chiefs Fight Cancer campaign created by Spokane Chiefs forwards Mitch Holmberg, Mike Aviani and Liam Stewart continues to raise funds toward breast cancer research and awareness. Through December 1, the three forwards have combined for 57 goals. Their contributions and the organization’s match currently stand at $620.
Through the Chiefs Fight Cancer campaign, Holmberg and Aviani both donate $5 per goal scored to Susan G. Komen while Stewart donates $10 per goal. Chiefs General Manager Tim Speltz has pledged to match the players’ donations on behalf of the Chiefs Organization.
Through December 1:
Holmberg has 30 goals for $150
Aviani has 22 goals for $110
Stewart has 5 goals for $50
Beyond the players, many family members, friends and fans have stepped up to join the Chiefs Fight Cancer campaign, as the total value of gifts donated to date is $1,675. Thank you, fans!
