Spokane Chiefs donate $5,600 to Big Table
On March 21, the Spokane Chiefs faced off in a 6-1 win over the Tri-City Americans, wearing specialty “Turn Back The Clock” themed Spokane Comets jerseys in front of a sell-out crowd of 10,334 raucous fans. The Comets played in Spokane in the early 1960’s. Together with Miller Lite, the Chiefs auctioned off the unique game-worn jerseys with a portion of proceeds benefitting Big Table Spokane. This locally-founded organization supports restaurant and hospitality workers when they experience a crisis or unexpected challenge.
“Big Table is deeply honored to partner with the Spokane Chiefs and Miller Lite in serving those in crisis in the restaurant and hospitality industry here in Spokane. The funds raised from the ‘Turn Back the Clock’ night will go directly towards several individuals and families doing their best but needing someone in their corner,” said Big Table Spokane City Director Chris Deitz. “Last year alone, Big Table Spokane served over 400 hospitality employees and together, we are anticipating serving over 475 in 2026. Thank you for joining in to better the lives of those serving us daily and aiding to make Spokane a better place.”
Big Table not only offers financial assistance, but also offers support, direction, encouragement, and hope. This past season, the jersey auction raised $5,600.
