Petes acquire goaltender Matthew Koprowski from Owen Sound
The Peterborough Petes have acquired 2007-born goaltender Matthew Koprowski from the Owen Sound Attack in exchange for a conditional 15th-round pick (SOO) in the 2028 OHL Priority Selection.
The conditional pick will become an 11th-round selection if Koprowski remains with Peterborough beyond Jan. 10, 2027.
A native of Komoka, Ont., Koprowski was originally selected by Owen Sound in the fourth round, 72nd overall, of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. He signed with the Attack in January 2024 after appearing in 34 games with the GOJHL’s Komoka Kings.
Koprowski appeared in 51 games across three seasons with the Attack, posting a 16-23-6 record, 4.32 goals-against average and .870 save percentage.
The 19-year-old also attended Toronto Maple Leafs development camp during the summer of 2025 before receiving an invite to St. Louis Blues training camp later that year.
