In the Huskies first game back, Reid Valade (Kitchener) helped power his team to a 7-5 win over Dalhouise with a five-point (3-2–5) afternoon. He recorded his second hat trick of the season and added two assists, opening the scoring midway through the first period before sealing the victory with an empty-net goal late in the third. Valade now leads U SPORTS with 34 points and 21 goals through 18 games this season.
