Bulldogs acquire Carson Andrew from Greyhounds
The Carson Andrew trade sends the 18-year-old forward from the Soo Greyhounds to the Brantford Bulldogs in exchange for a pair of future OHL Priority Selection picks.
Sault Ste. Marie receives London’s fourth-round selection in 2028 and Barrie’s 14th-round selection in 2029.
Andrew, a native of St. Louis, MO, was originally selected by the Greyhounds in the fourth round, 78th overall, of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. The 6-foot-3, 196-pound right-shot winger has appeared in more than 120 regular season games over parts of three seasons in Sault Ste. Marie.
“Carson is a player we’re excited to add to our group,” said Bulldogs President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Spencer Hyman. “He’s a big man who brings high hockey IQ and compete every shift. He plays with pace and purpose, and most importantly, he’s a high character kid who fits our identity. We believe he will be a great addition to our room.”
Andrew played all 68 games as an OHL rookie in 2024-25, recording seven goals, 12 assists and 19 points before adding a goal and an assist in five playoff contests.
He took on a checking and penalty-killing role with the Greyhounds in 2025-26, finishing with seven goals and seven assists over 50 regular season games. Andrew added another goal and assist across 10 playoff appearances.
Prior to joining the OHL, Andrew developed with the St. Louis Blues AAA program alongside current Bulldogs defenceman George Komadoski before spending two seasons at Shattuck-St. Mary’s. He recorded 66 points in 56 games during his 15U season leading into the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.
The Carson Andrew trade adds another experienced forward to a Brantford roster that has undergone significant change over the offseason and into the opening weeks of the 2026-27 campaign.
Andrew is expected to join the Bulldogs immediately and could make his Brantford debut when the club hosts the Peterborough Petes on Friday night.
