67’s sign 2026 third-round pick Brayden Grima

OTTAWA – The Ottawa 67’s announced today that forward Brayden Grima has signed an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the club.

“Brayden is a powerful forward, who has shown the ability to create offence in multiple ways, and has a high understanding of the game,” said General Manager Jan Egert. “Brayden’s off-season progression and mentality earned him this next opportunity, and we are looking forward to supporting his development in the next chapter of his hockey career.”

Grima was selected 55th overall in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection. The Toronto, Ontario, native registered 44 points in 30 games with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens U16 AAA. The forward added 13 points in seven games at the OHL Cup and participated in the Ottawa 67’s 2026 Training Camp.

« Brayden est un attaquant puissant, qui a démontré sa capacité à créer des occasions offensives de multiples façons et qui possède une excellente compréhension du jeu », a déclaré le directeur général Jan Egert. « Les progrès réalisés par Brayden pendant l’intersaison et son état d’esprit lui ont valu cette nouvelle opportunité, et nous sommes impatients de l’accompagner dans son développement au cours de ce nouveau chapitre de sa carrière. »

Grima a été sélectionné en 55e position lors du repêchage prioritaire de l’OHL de 2026. Originaire de Toronto, en Ontario, il a inscrit 44 points en 30 matchs avec les Jr. Canadiens de Toronto U16 AAA. L’attaquant a ajouté 13 points en sept matchs lors de la Coupe de l’OHL et a participé au camp d’entraînement 2026 des 67 d’Ottawa.
