Battalion Visit Nickel City Friday!
The Sudbury Wolves will kick off the new year at home this weekend as the Brampton Battalion will make their way to the Nickel City for the third time this season. Game time is 7:35 P.M. The division rivals are currently deadlocked in a 2-2 tie in the season series. The game will also be a sneak preview of a renewed northern rivalry, as the Battalion will be moving to North Bay next season. Wolves fans are encouraged to come out and cheer loud in a “Northern Battle of the Fans” as “The Fox” and North Bay will be sending four buses to Sudbury for the game. The Battalion are led up front by rookie standout BLAKE CLARKE who has posted an impressive 30 points to date this season.
Friday’s game will be sponsored by RELIANCE HOME COMFORT who will be on hand with giveaways as well as a prize for the fan of the period! Be sure to visit the RELIANCE HOME COMFORT information booth in the lower lobby. Fans are encouraged to visit the table for a chance to win great prizes! There will also be a Tim Horton’s mini game presented by Reliance during the second intermission featuring youngsters from the SMHA.

The Wolves will head on the road to Mississauga on Sunday for a 2:00 P.M. matinee contest against the Steelheads. Don’t miss out on the action, as STEW KERNAN will have the call of the game on KFM 95.5. .
Call-up forward COLTON SPICER will be unable to play for the Wolves this week after he contracted a flu virus which kept him from skating in Saturday’s practice and the Wolves’ weekend home games. The Fort Frances youngster will return home to rejoin his junior team for the balance of the season.
