Ethan Dean Commits to Wolves
(Greater Sudbury, ON) – The Sudbury Wolves are proud to announce the commitment of forward, Ethan Dean.
“Ethan is a player we had watched closely and were high on all season long,” said Sudbury Wolves VP and General Manager, Rob Papineau. “He is an elite skating forward that is always backing up defenders and goes to the inside to drive offence. He is a very strong character person who we are excited has chosen the OHL and the Sudbury Wolves”
Ethan Dean was the Wolves second round 36th overall pick in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. The 5-foot-eleven, 160 lbs., forward, from London On. was named as an assistant captian with the London Jr. Knights U16 this past season. With the London Jr. Knights Ethan registered 31 points, 16 goals, and 15 assists in 30 games during the regular season. Ethan capped off the 2023-24 season with 10 playoff games to recored 15 points (7G-8A).
“I’m so grateful to be chosen by an organization that has so much success developing young players over the years,” said Ethan. I have some big shoes to fill and can’t wait to get going and make the club and fans proud.
Sudbury Wolves scouts depict Ethan as a 200-foot-centre who has elite skating and is an offensive threat both as a goal-scorer and play-maker. He is a high character player who demonstrates strong leadership skills.
