2024 OHL Priority Selection April 12th – 13th
The future starts April 12th when the 2024 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore gets underway at 7:00pm. The Wolves secured the 12th overall pick in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection by way of playoff seeding.
The OHL Priority Selection will once again be held over the course of two days, with the opening three rounds taking place on Friday, April 12th beginning at 7:00pm. The proceedings resume on Saturday, April 13th starting at 9:00am with Rounds 4-15. The Priority Selection will be streamed for free in its entirety on OHL Live.
Coverage of this year’s Priority Selection will be produced in its entirety by YourTV, and in addition to streaming live for free online, can be seen in the community across YourTV, Rogers tv and Eastlink Community TV stations, in addition to distribution across the province on Rogers Super Sports Pak ch. 466 (East) and 677 (West). Luca Blonda |
Luca is a smart transitional defenceman who loves to move the puck up ice and contribute on the offensive end while also looking to play soundly on the defensive side. He is an elite skater and brings a high compete level with a passion for the game. Luca lives and breathes being a hockey player. He is always looking to contribute to his team’s success whenever he is on the ice as he wants to win more than anything else. Luca is a player who can play in all situations and we feel will eventually quarterback our power play. |
Ethan Dean | Ethan is a 200 foot centre who has elite skating ability. His transition game makes him an offensive threat regardless of the situation. He has a balanced offensive attack who is able to both score goals and create offence for his teammates. He is a high character player who was a big part of his team’s leadership group helping lead London to the Alliance u16 championship. |
Henry Doucet | Henry is a big winger who finished 1st in the on-ice category during the OHL Combine last weekend held on April 6th and 7th. He is fast and finishes every check. Last season he scored 20 goals showcasing he has hands to complement his physical style. He is a player who does all the little things that coaches love and teammates appreciate. |
Cole Wreggitt | Wreggitt is a 6’1” solid d-man and an elite skater. He’s a d-man that will play in all key situations as well as logging a lot of minutes. He has a high IQ, makes a good first pass and can join the rush with his skating ability. He will also make opponents pay a huge price in front of the net because of his physical play. |
Mateo Beites | Mateo displays a lot of patience in a variety of different scoring opportunities. He is solid and composed on breakaways, rarely making the first move. When the puck is worked around the zone, he shows good attention to detail by making micro adjustments with his feet to stay on angle. |
Brady Smith | Brady is a natural-born leader. He commands the ice with confidence and an uncompromising, tough attitude. Brady will be an excellent shutdown defenceman at the OHL level. |
Greg Najda | Greg is a strong, powerful, highly skilled winger, who has shown the propensity to produce offensively in the most critical moments on a championship team. His puck skills in tight areas and the ability to use his body effectively is very impressive. Greg’s size combined with his skill is an excellent addition to our forward group. |
Owen McGuckin | Owen has outstanding puck skills and the ability to find the scoresheet. His hockey sense is excellent, and he plays every shift with purpose. |
Finn Kearns | Finn is a perfect shutdown defenceman with a bullet shot. He is tough to play against and battles with purpose. He makes a great first pass and plays heads-up hockey. |
Mason Walker | Mason was named NOHA player of the year this season. Walker is an excellent skater who competes in all areas of the ice. He drives the play and is an offensively gifted player who had 63 points this season playing in a u18AAA. |
Tucker Roberts | Tucker brings a really solid offensive skillset and plays at a high tempo. He finds the scoresheet regularly and plays a complete 200-foot game. |
Bodhi Ryan | Bodhi is lightning-fast and plays at an extremely high compete level. He has very deceptive speed and is an offensive threat on almost every shift. |

Seth is a solid puck-moving defenceman who likes to transition well up ice. His physical frame projects well as an excellent OHL prospect who is able to play an efficient patient game and makes solid puck decisions in all three zones. |
Nathan McKee | Nathan is an extremely smooth-skating defenceman with a lot of confidence and poise with the puck. He has grind to his game and plays with purpose. |
Danny MacDonald | Danny is a hard working forward that will score goals. He has a pro-shot with a quick release. Danny is fearless and will go to the hard traffic areas to score. He is very passionate about the game with a high hockey IQ. |
